Sunday we headed over throught Smoky Mountain National Park and down the Blue Ridge Parkway to Maggie Valley, NC for a visit to the Wheels Through Time Museum - 53 bikes set out and we all kept together pretty well for the entire 75 mile ride.
After lunch, it was over to the museum - this place is just plain incredible - the number and variety of vehicles on display is pretty amazing as is the size of the place. Really fantastic folks at the museum as well.
Here's a few of my shots (not my best work but should give you an idea of the place) - full gallery is here

We took up a fair amount of the parking lot:



This particular bike made trips up the mountain with a passenger kneeling on the passenger side apparently (I left before demos were made)

Besides the counter kitty there were two hound dogs wandering about as well.



Where a great many riders got their start:

I think this is a prototype for the Valkerie:


Indian panel motorcycle:


The real thing baby:
