csmcdonald at 06:16pm on 03/01/2011Started the first off at a friends where we had black-eyed peas and collard greens as is fitting for New Years Day, and some target shooting after lunch. Doug & Kelly got me a scope for my rifle and Doug sighted it in for me, was a great day.
Sunday I headed over to Amicalola Falls in the car and hiked the short trail to the falls.
Today we had off from work so I decided to add a new Huddle House to my map (#37) and get a bike ride in. Rode up to Helen and had lunch, then took a slightly longer way home - was about 38 when I set off, got up to the high 40s on the way back - the heated gloves worked a treat. I wasn't old til after I was off the bike and back inside at home. About 87 miles round trip, not bad.
The Huddle House in Helen wasn't bad, it just wasn't very good - food was ok, service was totally meh, overall the worst HH I've been to so far.
