csmcdonald at 02:10pm on 03/08/2009Went across 136 over the mountain over to Calhoun where New Echota State Historic site is located - 141 miles round trip. New Echota is where the Cherokees formed their capital before the trail of tears here in NW Georgia. Very interesting site.

Saturday evening a buddy of mine gave an assist and we changed the oil on the bike, on Sunday we did the valve inspection - huge pain in the butt to get at the valves, but all done and bike is back together and happily riding around while I'm working today.
